This weekend, I have been dabbling with open source content creation softwares like Joomla! 1.5.3 and wordpress. Little did I know that there is a wordpress.org (to create hosting contents with the wordpress software) and then there is a wordpress.com, which lets you have your own blogs et al. I wanted to have a public blog which would talk about the frustrations and serendipities as I progressed through the experiments.
Hence, this blog to record my thoughts, trials and triumphs. I hope someone would find it useful in his/her journey of using open source softwares for a worthy cause (I consider learning an entirely worthy cause).
Hereby, I commence upon an interesting journey, one which I am confident, shall be a worthy one; For nothing is rendered useless for a seeker of knowledge.
As Lord Krishna says in the Srimad Bhagvat Gita,
O Arjuna, the efforts of a yogi are never rendered useless… having acquired a new body, he/she is united with his/her previous intellgence/mind impressions and hence pursues the path, with greater self-effort in the subsequent births.
